What we might do or say to change the past.

Guilt
Resentment
Sorrow
Anger
Contempt
Stall our progress
Steal our presence
Crowd out happiness.

There is no way through
If we stay.

Life moves on
With or without us. 

We choose
How and when
What we carry

Memories preserved

We can let go
