Spring is here
Yet it snows.

To see snow
In late March
Brings
Feelings of discontent
Frustration
Anger
Self pity
Disappointment.

The snow
Is not supposed
To be here
The weather
Should be warmer.

When will
Winter end?
When it ends…

This is not fair
Nature is not fair.

We get stuck
Wishing things
Were different.

If only
It was better
The way
We want it
How it should be
Then
We could be happy.

The snows of spring
Do not care
How it should be
How we want it
What is Fair.

They only are
What they are.

The Gift And Opportunity

It’s snowing.!.

Taken for what it is
It is beautiful.

Our perception
Make it not so.

It is not the snow
That injures
Frustrates
Depresses us.

It is our perception of it.

The snow
Is.

Beautiful
Clean
Nature. 

Unbound by
Perceptions
Constraints
Fairness.

It is not
Any of the things
We place upon it.

See the snow
For what it is.

Without judgment
Perceptions
Or conditions.
