And here we are, anxious. Irritated by what it is not. No thing or person can be fully satisfying; it could always be more. We are not content or happy with what is, and so we form opinions about how it could be different, better, more like we would design it. We live in these opinions instead of the present moment. Incongruence brings frustration, and so we are quick to judge and correct. If the universe would bend, we might be less irritated.
We give up what is here and now for what it could be. We tell others they are not enough with subtle corrections and expectations of perfection.
We could enjoy what is. What is, IS. We could choose to see that all we need to be happy is, and always has been, right here and now. We can see and accept most things exactly as they are and enjoy them without opinion or desire to change. We can live with what nature has provided—with what is.
